RADF Gives Rural Education and Training a Boost

Welcome

The Government of Alberta has recently agreed to a one year contract extension with Rural Alberta’s Development Fund. This extension will enable the organization to continue to fund innovative and new programs in rural Alberta and do a full evaluation of the impacts and benefits of RADF’s investments. It will also allow rural organizations more time to submit applications and to complete their projects.

The extension means RADF will have until November, 2010 to commit the remainder of its $100 million pool and until November, 2012 to have all of the money allocated. More importantly, it will provide an extended period of time to provide a complete performance evaluation of all funded projects. RADF’s funding agreement will now end on June 30, 2013.
